the Executive Board of the “International Conference on Sustainable Globalization“ has the pleasure of inviting you to present your expertise at their 2^nd International Conference to be held in Kerala, India, from the 11^th– 13^th January, 2019.

Academics, Chancellors, Rectors and Industry Professionals from around the world are expected to attend this conference – the first of its kind to bring executives and scientists more closely together – and deliberate on the role of higher education, IT, Entreepreneurship and Tourism, Environment and Risk Management towards a sustainable world.

We chose Kerala as the venue for the meeting, because of its commitment to sustainability, its leadership in green development, its role in educating its population and its recognition by National Geographic, as one of the top ten destinations to be seen, in a lifetime. With two days of conference deliberations and a post conference workshop to be organized in a houseboat on the backwaters of Kerala, this is a conference not to be missed.

A unique story

The 1^st International Conference on Sustainable Globalization, ICSG” was held in Kochi, Kerala / India from 11^th– 13^th January, 2018, organized internationally by representatives of four universities in an international and interdisciplinary manner – and not just as another conference.

Convinced that implementation of sustainable projects in the long run is in need of business, administrators and scientific advisors working together, the organizing team decided to take action inviting experts from all three groups in order to facilitate a direct transfer of possible solutions to reality.

The conference, which included several workshops in connection with sustainable globalization for over 200 participants, offered four topics in the sections “Education”, “IT”, “Tourism” and “Sustainable Development” presented by international experts and published in conference proceedings.

Participants were convinced by this approach and so spontaneously decided on the official foundation of an “International Association for Sustainable Globalization”. The founding committee of the universities and first board includes: Dr. Sander, Ostfalia University, Prof. Dr. Kuruvilla, University of Wisconsin at Parkside, Prof. Dr. Jacob, Mahatma Gandhi University and Prof. Dr. Konecki, University of Zagreb.

This International Society will continue the conference as an annual event and set itself the task of promoting a practice-oriented and technical implementation of sustainability approaches in society. We are convinced the networking opportunities will prove true and fruitful towards a fair society.

About Us

Presentation of the Conference Proceedings by the founders of the International Association for Sustainable Globalization by the Organizing Committee with guests to the participants was a rewarding moment for the inaugural meeting of the 1^st International Conference on Sustainable Globalization – a stepstone forward to a new approach on working together and making change happen.
